Raindance Film Festival (November 5th)

Raindance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the UK and is officially recognised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences USA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the British Independent Film Awards.

Winners of Best Animation Short, Best Documentary Short and Short of the Festival categories will qualify for Oscar and selected shorts also for BAFTA considerations.

Raindance Film Festival invites UK and International producers and filmmakers to submit their films to its 28th edition that is taking place now in Central London. The festival aims to show the very best in new cinema from the UK and around the world and specialises in first-time directors and discovery.
