Stephen Mangan will lead the cast of 'A Christmas Carol' at the Old Vic Theatre this festive season, returning for a fifth year. A Christmas Carol is at the Old Vic from 13th November to 8th of January.
After doing a streamed version of Jack Thorne's (who wrote Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) adaptation of A Christmas Carol starring Andrew Lincoln last year, the Dickens classic is returning too the Old Vic stage in person this year. Matthew Warchus is directing and the cast of 15 is led by Stephen Magnan as Scrooge. Magnan returns to the West End to play Ebenezer Scrooge. He has previously been in plays such as The Man in the White Suit and The Birthday Party. He's joined by Jack Shalloo as Bob Cratchit, Bridgette Amofah as Mrs Cratchit, Amanda Hadingue as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Rachel John as the Ghost of Christmas Present and Mrs Fezziwig, Andrew Langtree as Father/Jacob Marley and James Staddon as Fezziwig.
