Capital FM's Summertime Ball is returning after a two year hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Capital Summertime Ball is an annual concert that puts on entertainment with the world's biggest musicians coming to the UK. For 2022, the Ball will be held at Wembley Stadium in London.

It is being rebranded as the UK's Biggest Summer Party after a long-awaited return. The Ball will take place on Sunday June 12, 2022. This comes after the event was cancelled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. The concert will be returning to Wembley Stadium, where it was last held in 2019. It will commence from 2pm with general doors opening at 12pm noon time on the day. The event is expected to end at 10pm, running on for roughly eight hours. Proof of ID is recommended in the case of purchasing alcohol at the event to show that you are over the age of 18. Capital are running a Challenge 25 policy at the concert.

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially have their London opponent for next season. A year after the Jaguars' first win of the season came in a Week 6 London bout vs. the Miami Dolphins, the Jaguars will face off against the Denver Broncos for 2022's international series in a Week 8 tilt.

The game will be played at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 9:30 a.m. It is the only international game this year that will be played at Wembley; Vikings vs. Saints (Oct. 2) and Giants vs. Packers (Oct. 9) will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Meanwhile, the Seahawks and Buccaneers will face off in Munich on Nov. 13, while the 49ers and Cardinals will play in Mexico City on Nov. 21.

The critically acclaimed musical Dear Evan Hansen has announced it will have its final performance at the West End’s Noel Coward Theatre on Saturday 22 October 2022. The multi-award-winning musical premiered in London in October 2019 and reopened post pandemic shut-down in October 2021. Louis Vuitton is gearing up for a drop of monumental proportions. Next month, the French maison will launch its collaborative Nike Air Force 1, designed by Virgil Abloh. One of Nike's most recognisable models, the AF1 has become an enduring cultural touchstone. Since Luhrmann announced his plan in 2014 to shoot a biography of the life and times of Elvis Presley, fans have been febrile in their anticipation of a film that aims to do justice to the singer's complicated and very human relationships. Luckily for them, Priscilla Presley, who was married to Elvis from 1967-73, has recently given her rapturous blessing, writing on Facebook that the film is “a true story told brilliantly and creatively that only Baz, in his unique artistic way, could have delivered. Austin Butler, who played Elvis is outstanding.

The CMT Music Awards is a fan-voted awards show for country music videos and television performances. The awards ceremony is held every year in Nashville, Tennessee, and broadcast live on CMT. Voting takes place on CMT’s website. Before the awards show was with CMT, it used to be contracted with TNN. When the show moved permanently to CMT, Country Weekly ended its brief association with the production. During this era, viewers would vote for the nominees by telephone or mail, in traditional categories such as “Entertainer of the Year”, “Male/Female Artist of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, etc. Most of the categories mirrored those of the CMA Awards and ACM Awards, except all awards were fan-voted.

The reason the evening is held in June is to coincide with the CMT Music Festival and the influx of tourists to Nashville, as well as capitalising on a time when many of the artists would already be in Nashville at once.
