Carols by Candlelight (December 24th)

​The Mozart Festival Orchestra and Chorus will be joined by soprano Gemma Summerfield for a concert of seasonal songs and Christmas classics in a beautiful candle-lit style setting at Cadogan Hall, dressed in in full 18th-century costume.

There will also be some readings by Peter Davison.

Music will include: Cullen's Joy to the World, Willcocks' Sussex Carol, Pearsall's In dulci jubilo, Handel's Zadok the Priest, Bach's Air on the G String and Handel's Let the Bright Seraphim, Eternal Source of Light Divine.

The singalong carols for all will include: Good King Wenceslas, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, Once in Royal David’s City and O Little Town of Bethlehem.
