Cook Up a Sri Lankan Feast (November 19th)

London on the Inside have just launched their 2021 LOTI Heroes campaign and this year they're giving you the chance to get involved directly with some of the amazing brands and businesses we’ve showcased.

Migrateful is a cookery and language school where asylum seekers, refugees and migrants struggling to access employment in the UK due to legal and linguistic barriers, teach their traditional cuisines to the public and London on the Inside have now teamed up with them for a very special vegan cooking class.

Sri Lankan chef Nafa will be leading the class and teaching you how to cook Soya Devil, a wet, crunchy and spicy dish popular in Sri Lanka and so named because it makes you eat the like devil, and Kahabath, a coconut milk & turmeric rice dish. The class is set up to run station style, so participants will be paired up and have their own cooking station with all the equipment and ingredients needed to make the dishes. Nafa will take the group through the recipes step-by-step as well as answering questions, sharing stories and giving you feedback on the dishes.
