Face Covering's Are Mandatory For Most Indoor Public Venues Starting Today (December 10th)10/12/2021 Starting today (Friday 10th of December 2021) it is now mandatory to wear a face covering for most indoor public venues such as places of worship, theatres & cinemas, retail shops, hairdressers, public transport and many more.
You won't need to wear a mask in a pub, club or a restaurant and in venues such as gyms where its not practical to wear them. From Monday 13th of December, people will be advised to work from home where possible and from Wednesday 15th of December (subject to parliamentary approval), people will need an NHS Covid Pass - showing their vaccination status or a recent negative lateral flow test to gain entry into nightclubs, indoor unseated venues with more than 500 people, unseated outdoor venues with more than 4,000 people and any venue with more than 10,000 people.
