Free Meals at FoodCycle (December 25th)

Food charity FoodCycle, which helps to combat food waste and loneliness by serving up meals made from surplus food to those in need, is putting on free meals across the festive season.

FoodCycle Peckham will be open on Christmas Day and New’s Year’s Day, with FoodCycle Bow Road open on New Year’s Eve, serving vegetarian three-course meals made from food that would have otherwise gone to waste.

As well as providing dinner for those who need it, the meals at FoodCycle give guests and volunteers the chance to sit down and spend some time together, something that’s even more important over the holidays.
