This November Stephane Delourme, Group Head Chef of Rick Stein Restaurants, teams up with Sam Harrison and Ashley Tinoco – Sam’s Riverside owner and head chef respectively – to create a a series of culinary events at the Thames-side brassiere.
Originally scheduled for 2020 but postponed for the obvious reasons, the services will start with a dinner on Tuesday, November 16, followed by lunch and dinner on Wednesday, November 17 and Thursday, November 18. The four-course menu will include dishes by both chefs and will make the most of seasonal produce from local suppliers including Carlingford Oysters, Gusbourne English sparkling and Phoenix Farm in White City. The menu includes such delights as queen scallops and salpicon dressing; razor clams, Cornish white crab meat, jamón Ibérico de Bellota; and Tronçon of Cornish turbot, girolles and chicken jus. Guests are welcomed with canapes and a glass of Gusbourne English sparkling on arrival and can try half a dozen Carlingford oysters or three cheeses as an optional add-on.
