Comprising 12 individually styled, adults-only “Hauses” (including four Tree Hauses, sprouting 15 feet into the pines), Green O offers more than 50 outdoor activities, from fly-fishing to ATVing – plus complimentary use of a Lexus to explore the expansive surroundings. Stargazers will love the Light Hauses’ oversize skylight and two fireplaces. Eligible members of The Lexo Club receive a welcome wine bottle, breakfast daily, and a $300 activity credit. Mediterranean Oasis: Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa On a hilltop overlooking Benitses Bay, the 196-room Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa provides yet another reason to visit Greece – specifically, the tropical island of Corfu in the Ionian Sea. Want even more splash time? Several of the private villas include plunge pools. Eligible members of The Lexo Club will receive breakfast daily, a complimentary foot massage, and a $100 hotel credit. At Home Outdoors: Kempinski Palace Engelberg Switzerland’s Titlis Alps surround the belle epoque-inspired Kempinski Palace Engelberg in the village of Engelberg, a nature-holiday haven located an hour’s drive south of Zürich. The new 129-room property delivers Swiss comforts such as traditional afternoon tea served on the Wintergarden terrace, a rooftop spa that sprawls more than 9,500 square feet, and Alpine views to inspire even the most seasoned mountaineers. Eligible members of The Lexo Club will receive a local welcome treat, breakfast daily, and a $100 hotel credit. City Slicker: Casa Cipriani New YorkFor more than 100 years, New York City’s Battery Maritime Building and ferry terminal has been a Beaux Arts fixture on the Financial District waterfront – now, it’s the newest outpost of luxe Italian powerhouse Cipriani. Casa Cipriani New York welcomes travelers to an intimate maritime-meets-art deco space with 47 rooms, a spa, and a private members club with postcard-worthy views of the Brooklyn Bridge, East River, and Statue of Liberty. Joel Cohen, general manager of Virtuoso on-site tour connection Beyond Times Square, predicts the event space – including a grand staircase and glass-ceilinged Great Hall – will set a new standard for grandeur in the city. Eligible membes of The Lexo Club will receive a welcome Bellini cocktail, breakfast daily, and a $100 dining credit. Cooler in Canada: 1 Hotel Toronto 1 Hotel Toronto has opened as a sustainable sanctuary in the city’s busy King West Village, eco-consciously and contemporarily crafted by the Rockwell Group with reclaimed timber, local marble, and native greenery. Local Virtuoso travel advisor Andrew Satkowiak notes that the 112-room hotel stands out for its great location, fresh and indie vibe, culinary program that sources ingredients within a 30-mile radius, and Harriet’s Rooftop bar, which serves fresh juices alongside craft cocktails. Eligible members of The Lexo Club will receive breakfast daily and a $100 dining credit. A Good Harvest: Stanly Ranch The most promising addition amid a bumper crop of new Napa Valley hotels, Stanly Ranch will open in October. Auberge Resorts’ new California-modern hotel and residences includes 135 stand-alone cottages with terraces, firepits, and outdoor showers nestled within the 712-acre vineyards of the historic Stanly Ranch, which has grown grapes since the late 1800s. Eligible members of The Lexo Club will receive breakfast daily and a $100 hotel credit. Stone-Cold Glamorous: The Reykjavik Edition The capital of Iceland lays serious claim to luxury with The Reykjavik Edition, opening in late 2021 in downtown Reykjavik by Old Harbour port. Among the highlights of its 253 guest rooms: a 1,367-square-foot Penthouse and its balcony. “The Edition is the first five-star hotel in Reykjavik,” says Kristin Bjornsdottir of Virtuoso on-site tour connection Iceland Encounter. “It will put a spotlight on the city and attract even more high-end travelers.” Culinary options include an alfresco venue with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Esja to the north – as well as a rooftop restaurant with a private dining room, a cocktail bar, and a lobby bar.
