It’s the 50th year of UK Pride, and Channel 4 – the broadcaster who has been championing LGBTQ+ rights since its inception, is throwing a party. And who better to host it than comedian, activist and all-round fabulous queer icon, Joe Lycett? And where better to hold it than the jewel of the Midlands, Joe’s hometown of Birmingham…

Joe Lycett’s Big Pride Party is a live 2-hour comedy entertainment show hosted by Joe Lycett, aided and abetted by chum Rosie Jones and a whole host of celebrities from the worlds of comedy, television and film. The live fun and games will be interspersed with music performances and a raft of cheeky, quirky stunts and surprises for the audience at home and in the room. Joe will also be ensuring that at the heart of the show is the knowledge that Pride has a political purpose by challenging those who have threatened LGBTQ+ rights - this is a party with a purpose. Everyone is welcome!
