With the gilded ceilings and glittering chandeliers, the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace provide a perfect setting for many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world. In the company of an expert guide, you will be taken on a tour through these magnificent rooms when the Palace is not usually open to the public.
The State Rooms included on the tour include the Grand Entrance, Grand Staircase, Green Drawing Room, Picture Gallery, Ballroom, Throne Room, White Drawing Room, Music Room, Blue Drawing Room and East Gallery. Due to the ongoing Reservicing Programme, the Bow Room, State Dining Room and Ball Supper Room will not form part of this tour. The experience lasts around 1 hour and ends with a copy of the official souvenir guide. Visitors for tours 25 March - 3 April will enter via The Royal Mews. Visitors for tours 8 - 24 April will enter via The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace. If you are booking with children then The Lexo Club have a special tour for families available to be booked. There is limited availability, with a maximum number of 30 places on each tour. The State Rooms are fully accessible and we welcome visitors with different access requirements. Wheelchair access and step-free access are available.
