You can now hit the ice in a UNESCO World Heritage Site as The Queen’s House ice rink, set in the grounds of Royal Museums Greenwich, is now open. Enjoy views of the river and Greenwich Royal Park as you glide (or slip and slide) your way around the ice.
There is no doubt that the Queen's House ice rink is one of London's most captivatingly beautiful. It might not have the cool-factor (no pun intended) of SKATE, or the tourist chops of the National History Museum, but for purists, it's pretty perfect and it always looks dazzling. There are plenty of good local options in Greenwich to provide you with mulled wine and other warming treats. It's also a wonderful place for a winter walk afterwards. If you're interested in attending then contact your concierge manager to arrange tickets for your attendance.
